Bulls eye

I went to target last night hoping for 50% save again and hit the bulls eye. Again, my couponing goal is to save 50% or keep it at averaging a $1 per item. My funnest buy was men's soap for $0.04! I acutally went to buy ice cream b/c our frig broke last week and we lost all our ice cream. I had coupons for ice cream and it was on a sale/deal for buy 5 and get a gift card back. Here's all that I bought, 19 items at original cost of $47 and end cost after taxes at $22 + $5 gift card for next purchase. Professional couponers deduct the savings from this purchase so it was actually $17!
**Thank you Totally Target for putting together the scenarios for me!!!

I made a couple of mistakes when I read the scenarios on the blogs I followed and I walked away with a little more than I expected but it's ok. I should've bought 4 hot dogs b/c I had single coupons + target's coupon + a buy 3 get 1 free coupon. I should've also bought 2 morning star products b/c i had a target coupon + buy 2 get $1 off. I only got $0.50 off one. oh well...but we'll learn to be more detailed next time, I'm happy I saved a little over 50% this time. I've been following My Coupon Teacher and her savvy shopper course. It says it's 12 weeks but you read a few at a time.

My next purchase is going to be of twizzlers at CVS so that I can do a Fourth of July treat with our friends who we bbq with every year. (Act surprised if you read this ahead of time).
